NEWS

Haleiwa is now the economic hub of the North Shore and the gateway to world famous surf breaks at Waimea Bay, Pipeline and Sunset Beach. Considered a special historic district by the City and County of Honolulu, Haleiwa is home to 34 historic buildings featuring plantation architectural styles influenced by the former Waialua Sugar Company. All new buildings must emulate these styles to satisfy the Haleiwa Special District requirements.

Haleiwa is home to many unique, locally owned businesses. From boutiques and boat charters, to surf shops and shave ice. Haleiwa offers activities guaranteed to please every member of the family.
